Comments on Social Security Benefit Referrals for Children in Foster Care and Transfer of Payee Representation for Children and Young Adults Upon Entry and Exit from Foster Care

Lawyers For Children submitted comments on the Administration of Children's Services proposed policy regarding the collection of Social Security benefits of children and youth in foster care. The comments identify the failures of ACS policy to fulfill its promise to ensure children are able to retain and use their benefits and how they should join other jurisdictions in designing and implementing a policy that truly benefits children.
